First-year students of the Hellenic Arab Maritime Academy participated in the 10th Maritime Congress “Shipping Finance & Capital Market. Shipping as Private or listed? The Shipping Finance Alternatives in 2018”, which was held on January 10, 2018 at the Conference Center of the War Museum, in Athens.

The Hellenic Arab Maritime Academy and the City Unity College were among the sponsors of the Maritime Congress.

The distinguished speakers from the Shipping industry shared their experiences and made their case whether going public is a smart decision for a shipping company, argued about all potential alternatives in the shipping finance market and discussed the trends in the near future.

At the end of the congress, students had the chance to speak directly with top executives and managers of Shipping companies and Shipping Supplies companies who participated in the conference.
